Special Religious Education & Special Education in Ethics (SRE/SEE)

At Russell Vale Public School, SRE and SEE is delivered on Thursdays from 2:30 – 3:00 for K-2 students and from 1:55-2:25 for Years 3-6 students.

When enrolling your child, you’ll be able to choose an option from the approved providers offered at our school. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE/SEE should be given to the office, in writing.

Catholic SRE

Combined Christian SRE

Combined Christian SRE (formerly referred to as Protestant SRE) is provided by different Christian denominations and churches. The approved providers in this combined arrangement are Baptist Union of NSW and Anglican Diocese of Sydney.  All Christian SRE teachers are authorised and trained by an approved provider. Primary Ethics

SEE is provided by Primary Ethics. For more information about SEE, including the authorised curriculum scope and sequence, please visit Primary Ethics.

During the time that SRE/SEE classes are being held, students not attending will be located in a separate space and will participate in meaningful activities that could include reading, private study or completing homework.
